Effective date: August 29, 2026
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when you use our websites, request information, submit a directory inquiry, apply for or purchase a business listing or hosted page, upload business materials, book an appointment, or communicate with us.
- Name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing or service-area information.
- Business descriptions, services, hours, websites, social links, licenses, certifications, and similar listing information.
- Logos, photographs, graphics, videos, documents, and other files you choose to upload.
- Lead or inquiry information submitted through forms on a participating business page.
- Payment and subscription information processed through third-party payment providers. We generally do not store complete payment-card numbers.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, pages viewed, referring pages, cookies, analytics events, and similar usage data where enabled.
- Communication preferences, including whether you elect to receive text messages or emails.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Create, host, maintain, and display directory listings and hosted one-page business websites.
- Route consumer inquiries to the business featured on the applicable page.
- Respond to requests, provide customer support, process subscriptions, and manage accounts.
- Send operational notices, appointment information, lead notifications, and other communications you request or consent to receive.
- Improve website performance, security, design, directory organization, and user experience.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or violations of our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Directory Inquiries and Lead Routing
When a visitor submits a form on an individual business page, the information submitted may be shared with or routed to the business featured on that page so that the business can respond to the inquiry. Once the featured business receives the inquiry, that business is responsible for its own use, storage, protection, and response to the information it receives.
4. SMS / Text Messaging Privacy
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other categories of information sharing and will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may share information with service providers, carriers, messaging aggregators, CRM providers, or other vendors only as reasonably necessary to operate and deliver the messaging service, provide support, prevent fraud, or comply with law.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
5. SMS Program Details
If you separately opt in to text messaging from LocalVA, LocalWV, or the applicable directory service, message frequency may vary depending on your interactions and the services you request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at +1 (571) 583-4982 or [email protected].
Opting out of SMS does not prevent us from contacting you by other methods where permitted and appropriate, such as email, unless you separately unsubscribe from those communications.
6. When We May Share Information
We may disclose information:
- To the business featured on a directory page when you submit an inquiry intended for that business.
- To vendors and service providers that help us host websites, route forms, operate CRM systems, process payments, send communications, provide analytics, or secure our services.
- To professional advisers or authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or enforce agreements.
- As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of a business, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell SMS consent or mobile opt-in information.
7. Cookies and Analytics
Our sites may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, or similar technologies to remember preferences, understand site traffic, measure performance, and improve the service. Browser settings may allow you to limit certain cookies. Disabling cookies may affect some features.
8. Business Content and Public Listings
Information submitted for a public business listing may be intentionally displayed publicly, including business names, business phone numbers, service areas, services, hours, websites, social links, photographs, logos, and other information the business asks us to publish. Do not submit information for public display that you do not have the right to use or do not want displayed publicly.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, and support security. Hosted page content may be archived, disabled, or deleted after a subscription ends in accordance with our Terms and internal retention practices.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet transmission, storage system, website, email system, or messaging platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, subject to applicable law and legitimate business or legal retention needs. Depending on where you reside and which privacy laws apply, you may have additional rights. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.
For marketing email, use the unsubscribe link where provided. For SMS, reply STOP.

The directory services are intended for general audiences and business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 through the directory services.
13. Third-Party Websites and Services
Directory pages may contain links to third-party websites, maps, social networks, payment services, booking tools, or other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
